Travel Approval!!!

December 18th we received our travel approval from China..to go get our daughter!  Things move quite quickly once TA is received and a frantic airline booking starts the madness!  Once airline tickets are secured...then a travel package is put together with specific dates and places in place.  SO...all that being said..we have completed all these steps and celebrated Christmas and went on a week long vacation and TOMORROW we fly out of here to go get Annie!  We are so excited!  This trip will be really special since Mark and Matt get to come along with us as well as Justin's parents, Alan and Cathy.  What an adventure we will all have as we travel around the world to adopt Annie and bring her into our family.   Ashley, Beth, & Emma will stick close to home..being cared for by my great parents and Justin's sweet sisters and brothers-in-law.  There are a lot of details but the Lord has been gracious and granted health and energy to do what is necessary!  Resting in His peace that all the details have been remembered!

So...tomorrow begins the adventure...flying out of Spokane to Seattle then to Beijing!  I will try to update the blog so the trip is documented and a few can follow along (hi, Kara!)

Can't wait to meet Annie!  I have pictured in my mind meeting her so many times but it is impossible to know how it will go...just praying for her little heart, for peace, and for a quick bond to form so she feels safe in the trauma she will experience leaving all she knows for the security of a family.  This is easy for me to see but impossible for her to know or understand.
